Automating authorizations and users creation and maintenance processes through a controlled, workflow based application is one of the condition required for guaranteeing sustained compliance of your information systems. Paper based processes have now proven to be unefficient.
The purpose of the ADINEO user provisioning component is to help you streamline the users and authorizations maintenance workflow through the enablement of collaborative work between the populations involved in this process. Of course, SoD violations analysis is embedded in every workflow process step of our solution. But ADINEO goes further though, and provides unique functions to help you accelerate and improve your maintenance processes.
Given the compliance constraints set on companies by governmental regulations, the user provisioning process has now come at the heart of every company's users and authorizations maintenance organizations. User provisoning processes generally have to be partly or completely reshaped to fit the new requirements.
In this newly designed processes, several departments must work together in a highly collaborative manner. Business rules designers (the owners of the business repository and of business governance), users designers (those responsible for authorizations assignment to end-users) and authorizations designers now all play a significant part in the user provisioning process. This of course adds complexity, requires adaptation to new procedures, and sometimes new skills in organizations.
Without an efficient and automated solution to streamline and simplify this process, users requests management time cycle will inevitably considerably increase. Or in some cases, compliance may be lost because people do not have the time to either respect or document SoD issues and/or critical accesses provided to end-users.
